Prakash Raj meets KTR, to contest in LS elections from Karnataka
HYDERABAD: Actor Prakash Raj will contest the next Lok Sabha elections as an independent from Karnataka . The actor on Wednesday met TRS working president K T Rama Rao at his office in the city.

After meeting KTR, he tweeted a picture of his with the former minister and said: Thank you KTR for the inspiring support to my political journey. He mentioned that his was a new beginning not aimed against anyone but for the society. He said it was to raise citizens’ voices in parliament too.

The national award winning actor who also made the hashtag ‘Just asking’ by tweeting with it raising questions, announced his decision to take the political route to ask questions. While wishing his followers a happy new year, he said announced he would contest the parliament elections as an independent candidate. "Ab Ki baar Janatha ki sarkar," the actor, who is known to be a Modi-baiter said.
